Winter 2005 Tsunami Series
Due to the natural disaster that occurred in the Gulf states in August 2005, our congregation reviewed messages that Pastor Bixby preached following the tsunami disaster of December 2004. God's sovereignty embraces both hurricanes and tsunamis. Morning Star Baptist Church helped a medical team go to Sri Lanka to assist the tsunami victims. Even now, we are working to offer emergency assistance to victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We encourage you to review these messages, as our church has been, with hurricanes in mind. Recent Series: Reflections on the Servant Songs
Pastor Bixby spent a couple of months preaching expository messages from the Servant Songs in Isaiah. This was both a theological and devotional study on the God of all comfort and the character and work of the Messiah.
